It was a party with a purpose, September 19, 2015 at the City Club of Washington, DC! The 100 Black Men of DC hosted the 2015 Congressional Black Caucus in a Saturday evening affair that also included the Black Law Enforcement Officials and artists from the Harlem Fine Arts Show.

The annual reception and mixer is a national networking event as the DC Chapter marks a very important milestone. 2015 marks the organizations 20th year of service in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia (DMV) community. Mentoring is the key program for the organization devoted to improving the quality of life for African-Americans--particularly young males. Through the Saturday Leadership Academy, chapter members meet with young men in grades 8-12, to help them achieve their goals and develop into leaders.

The DC chapter currently serves 2,000 to 3,000 students and their families every year. Over its 20 years of service, the organization has positively impacted the lives of more than 60,000 students and their families!

As part of its $20 for Twenty campaign, 100 Black Men of Greater Washington, D.C. has asked its family, friends and supporters to donate $20 a month for the entire calendar year of 2015 to represent their 20 years of service. You can still donate by visiting the website here.
