The Artisphere in Arlington was the appropo setting for Behind the Scenes of NOVA Fashion Week - a fashion, beauty and design experience presented by Luxe Lifestyle. A prelude to the main event, Northern Virginia (NOVA) Fashion Week, in October 2012, the evening featured model styling demonstrations, music by BraveNoise, a Fashion/Blogger and Technology discussion panel and numerous vendors, including, Cosmetiques Laudun, Honest Tea, Stella & Dot, Perfect Pink and A Peace of Design. First Impressions Salon conducted free makeovers and style techniques and The Capital Area Fashion & Beauty Bloggers (CapFABB) engaged attendees in a lively question and answer. But it was the runway show by New York-based designer, Dayanne Danier that proved to be the highlight of the evening! Danier presented her line, bien abye, a collection of women's ready-to-wear seperates that ranged from classic ensembles to delicate and feminine pieces to fun and flirty frocks and shorts.
